ToshI delivering his angelic voice to the world.

Yokohama, Japan — June 21st, 2011 — HearJapan is excited to announce that X Japan singer ToshI has just added two brand new singles to the catalog!

Hoshizora no Neptune and Haru no Negai both prominently feature ToshI’s legendary vocal style set along-side elegant and moving piano melodies and string arrangements. These songs of separation, miraculous encounters and beauty could be considered metaphorically about the victims of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Their power and majesty work to heal all wounds.

Both Hoshizora no Neptune and Haru no Negai will be available to download the second they go on sale in Japan. Hardcore fans overseas won’t have to feel left out of this monumental communal experience! Make sure to pre-order now and set your alarm so you can be the first to own these incredible new ToshI singles as soon as they go live!

Also, don’t forget that along with ToshI’s healing voice, 5% of ALL HearJapan sales go toward the continuing relief efforts in Japan. And make sure to catch X Japan on their current world tour!

===========================
Yokohama, Japan — March 10th, 2011 — The Japan Nite tour is about to
take the US by storm once again, and HearJapan is excited to offer up
an exclusive sampler of music from the bands!

HearJapan News

This nine track album has music from eight of the bands on the tour.
This year the selection has a rough and raw feel featuring punk, hard
rock and stomping electro from the likes of White White Sisters,
Vampillia, Suck Piggy, Ydestroyde, DJ TERAOKA AND THE REVOLUTION and
Lolita 18. The smooth grooves of sonodaband and ZUZUKANASISTERS serve
as perfect counterpoint. The entire compilation will grab listeners by
the scruff of the neck and never let go. Just like you would expect at
the live show!

Fans of the crazy underground Japanese scene might be excited to know
that Vampillia is made up of a large number of big names, like
Chikada, the drummer of World's end girlfriend. There is also drummer
Tatsuya Yoshida from Ruins and Korekyojinn. Then there is Toyohito
Yoshida from exBOREDOMS. In total they have three singers, three
string players, two drummers and more!

Japan Nite is the longest running US tour to exclusively feature
Japanese bands. They always have an excellent line-up of bands both
old and new, known and unknown. You will find a lot to love, so don’t
pass up the chance to catch this exciting show!

You can get the 100% free sampler, more info, images and videos from
the bands through the link below.

Meetup groups near Chicago [01 Jul 2010|10:25pm]

xlightbringerx
Hey, does anyone know of any active VK/jrock meetup groups in Chicago or the NW suburbs of Chicago? Either here on LJ, or elsewhere, it doesn't matter.

I actually visited this place because I thought it was a meetup community a long time ago, but it seems to be pretty quiet now...;_;

Thank you!!

Hey everyone!

My name is Alexandra Olteanu, the PR intern at the Canadian fashion label. Since we are conducting extensive in-house research on the best places to shop for edgy clothes, I thought our community is one of the best places to ask about this. Thought you guys would enjoy participating in our project. All you have to do is tell us what are your favorite places to shop in your city and/or around the world!

Looking forward to hear about your likes.

I just thought of the stupidest idea last night. And I'm actually doing it. [29 Mar 2007|02:50pm]

the_midgetqueen
From the Facebook group, which is here:

I'm looking for 5-10 people (but hey, the more the merrier!) who will band together with me in forming a Hard Gay army cosplay group at ACEN 2007 in Chicago, IL. Doesn't matter your sex, build, height, size, hair color, hair length, whatever. And it's ok if your costume isn't positively perfect. With this late of notice, we're probably bound to be a little ragtag. But damn... an entire army of Hard Gay? Could you honestly resist it?

Please join the Facebook group, and/or send me an email at LCBARR07 AT GMAIL DOT COM and let me know if you're joining up with the gayest cosplay army ever! I will fill you in on more details, meeting location, which day(s) we're dressing up, etc.

plugging my site & community ^^ [11 Mar 2007|02:04pm]

mythic_breeze
Hello all, I have a plug!

Project: Jrock Events (USA)

Project: JRock Events (USA) is a project I started to help inform the masses of JRock-related events in the USA so that more fans can attend. The purpose of this is that the idea of more fans attending shows that fans are willing to go to these events and encourages future events (including concerts).

We began as an LJ community ( jrock_events_us  , please join!) but today is the grand opening of the official Project: JRock Events website. Please come check it out! (clickies on th banner above!)

Questions [28 Feb 2007|07:18am]

i_need_asagi
This place seems pretty empty, but I figured I'd give it a shot.

First question, does anyone live in or around St. Louis Mo. STL seems more like that rap capital then the j- ... well anything capital.

If you do, do you know if there are any like, Asian markets, or places that I could buy some cds from? I'm in a position where I can't really buy on-line (damn credit cards) and I don't know of any place around here like that. But then again, I don't live downtown, so I wouldn't know all thaaaat much. >.<; It just seems like there would be something here! I mean, I've not experienced a giant Asian population, but some. I can't believe that all was have (no offense!) are Mexicans here. There are so many Mexican markets around here!

Anyways, I'd love you dearly if you could help. &hearts

Hello~:D
So.. I hope this is allowed..I have a question. I'll be in Michigan (Rockford) in a few days. It's the first time ever I'll be in america so I'm pretty helpless if it comes to find shops where I can find Jrock CDs and mags. So.. anyone there who can tell me where to go?
Same goes with Chicago cause I'll be there for about four days. A name of a shop would help me a lot :D
